Educational Programs

Community Rights & Responsibilities offers a wide variety of educational programs, and is available to design programs on request as they relate to conflict resolution services. Pre-developed programs include the following:

An Introduction to Conflict Management I (Intro I, 50-60 minutes)

This program introduces the participants to a working definition of conflict, an introduction to the various styles for managing conflict, and an exploration of the strengths and weaknesses of each style. This is an excellent program to utilize for a classroom setting or small in-service workshop. The program is free. We ask for two weeks notice for scheduling this workshop.

An Introduction to Conflict Management II (Intro II, 90 minutes)

This program is similar to Intro I, but also provides workshop participants with the opportunity to assess and understand their own conflict styles and preferences. This workshop is ideal for a team-building exercise or for residence hall floor programs. The program is free. We ask for two weeks notice for scheduling this workshop.

An Introduction to Conflict Management III (Intro III, 3 hours)

This program is an extension to Intro II, and provides small group exercises and opportunities to practice conflict resolution skills. The program is free. We ask for two weeks notice for scheduling this workshop.

Please provide your name, organization, telephone number, and e-mail address. Indicate which program you are requesting, as well as the approximate number of people that will be in attendance. Indicate any preference in dates, days, and/or times as well. We will contact you within 48 business hours to let you know the availability of the program.
