Illinois State Greek students display their well-deserved awards during the Greek Awards Ceremony.
At Illinois State, we value and strive for excellence in everything we do. And as members of Greek organizations, we strive not to only achieve but to be leaders in our campus, local, and national communities. We are pleased to honor and recognize the members of Illinois State's Greek community that have helped set the bar and challenge each Greek student to take what we do to a higher level.
The purpose of the Chapter Excellence Award is to provide an objective appraisal of a chapter's performance and to challenge each chapter to intentionally design programs and operations to improve overall chapter performance. The awards are not designed as a competition among chapters for recognition. It is our hope that the application process will help the chapter to maintain accurate records that can assist in preparing annual inter/national reports or awards applications. We are committed to this awards process and hope that every chapter will take the time to complete the awards packet. Click on the Greek Awards Application for more details.
The purpose of the Individual Awards is to provide recognition to those leaders and chapters in the Greek community that go above and beyond to live the values of fraternity and sorority membership. These awards are by nomination or application. Click on the Individual Awards Application for more details.
Based on past years' awards we've developed a list of tips to assist students when completing both the Chapter Excellence Awards packet and the Individual Awards applications. Click on Tips Page for more specific suggestions.
