The Interfraternity Council at Illinois State University is comprised of 15 men's organizations. The Interfraternity Council participates in recruitment during the first month of each semester.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council at Illinois State University is comprised of traditionally African-American fraternities and sororities. The NPHC organizations perform their membership intake at various times throughout the school year, depending upon the various organization preferences.
The Panhellenic Association at Illinois State University is comprised of 12 women's organizations. Most organizations of the Panhellenic Association participate in formal recruitment during the fall semester. Some, but not all, organizations of the Panhellenic Association host informal recruitment during the spring semester.
Order of Omega recognizes up to three percent of those junior and senior fraternity and sorority members who excel in academics, leadership, and service to the community. Visit the national Order of Omega Web site.
Rho Lambda is the national leadership recognition society for women. The purpose of Rho Lambda is to honor those women within the sorority community who have exhibited the highest qualities of leadership and service to their Greek community and their sorority.
