Honorary Student Involvement Association

The Honorary Student Involvement Association (HSIA) is a registered student organization supported by the Student Involvement Center. As ambassadors of the Student Involvement Center, HSIA serves more than 300 student runt organizations by providing workshops and serving students interested in getting involved on campus. Every HSIA member is an experienced student leader and takes an active role in the implementation of HSIA’s services and events.

As the official Ambassadors of the Student Involvement Center, HSIA:

  • Promotes campus involvement
  • Develops and strengthens student organizations
  • Serves as an involvement resource for students of the Illinois State University community

Individual Involvement Consultations

HSIA offers individualized consultations to help students get involved at Illinois State. Students can talk directly with a member of HSIA to help identify organizations or acclivities on campus which they can become a part and also help to determine which is best for their interests

RSO Consultations

HSIA offers consultations to help leaders of registered student organizations (RSOs) with a number of issues to help them succeed, such as: motivation, delegation, planning retreats, training, and more. Consultants have experience working with various RSOs and the challenges of student organizations.
