How to register as a registered student organization (RSO) at Illinois State University

1. Sign up for and attend a RSO Orientation Session with Student Involvement Center.
2. Complete online registration (login and password for the registration system will be provided during Orientation, see Step 1)
3. Provide an electronic constitution to the Student Involvement Center in the online registration system (sample constitution & guidelines).
4. Make sure all of the organization's past due bills are paid.
5. Submit Signature Pages for president and advisor.

Important registration dates

• August/1st Monday of Classes - RSO Fall Registration opens
• September/Last Friday of the month – RSO Fall RSO Registration closes
• October/3rd Monday of the month - RSO Registration reopens
• May/last day of classes - RSO Registration closes for the summer
