Leadeship and Servicre is looking for programs with exciting, new topics that challenge traditional leadership workshop styles and content. All workshop session will be placed into one of six categories. The content areas were developed to diversify the leadership topics and issues.
The advanced program is a dynamic and interactive leadership workshop in which students are provided with the skills and the knowledge they need to become leadership ambassadors in their school and community. Students will have three hours of hands on learning with Matt Todd and Giustina D’Elia from LeadersToday. Only selected applicants can participate in these sessions.
These workshops focus on leadership and civic engagement. Some of the session will include topics such as politics, professional development, community involvement, and student government.
These workshops focus on how student leaders can challenge themselves to stretch outside their comfort zone, continue to develop their own personal system of values, and be an ally and advocate.
These workshops focus on the issues that face Greek student leaders. Discussions will push students to recognize the impacts of being Greek, and the responsibility that one must take to uphold the positive values of Greek life.
These workshops will focus health and wellness and its impact on leadership. Sessions will include topics of discussion on the importance of personal health, recognizing and assisting others with mental health issues, body image issues, and substance abuse. These sessions will not be focusing on typical issues within these subjects. They are focused on the needs of student leaders and how they are impacted by the various health and wellness topics.
These workshops focus on developing practical knowledge and skills to enhance a participant's leadership ability. While some of the session will focus on typical leadership development, the majority of these sessions will challenge student leaders to evaluate and discern their leadership ability, style, and commitment.
