Apply for Alternative Breaks

Before applying for Alternative Breaks, please consider the following:

• Alternative Breaks participants, including Trip Leaders, are required to attend mandatory events, including team meetings and other events and activities.
• Alternative Breaks participants are required to follow all AB and Illinois State policies before, during, and after their trip.
• Alternative Breaks participants are required to abide by the Alternative Breaks Zero Tolerance Alcohol & Drug Policy.
• Alternative Breaks participants must be in good standing with the University.  
• Alternative Breaks participants will occasionally be asked to participate in surveys and evaluations.
• Those participating in Alternative Breaks will be required to fund their trips.
• Applications will not be accepted without full completion.
• A non-refundable $5 application fee is required.

Alternative Spring Break

Students

Apply for Alternative Spring Break. The application deadline has passed. Applications will continue to be accepted for the waitlist only.

Apply for the ASB Minority Student Scholarship. Applications are due in Leadership & Service by December 4 at 4:30pm.

Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students
